P.O.V. in New York

January 2012

As part of the grand finale of the Rolex Arts Weekend in New York, Lee Serle presented P.O.V, a site-specific dance developed for Astor Hall, the soaring entrance to the New York Public Library.

Serle seated some members of the audience within the performance space, inviting them to cross over from their role as spectator to participant in varying degrees. Performing with three dancers and a few audience members, Serle charmed the audience with his highly theatrical style and whimsy.
